Hi, Hani, We are now back at home after a most enjoyable trip through the Middle East. I won't fill in the questionnaire as it is difficult to do so. My experience of Travel Jordan Agency has two parts. Firstly, during my e-mail correspondence with you I found the service of Travel Jordan Agency to be excellent. You answered all my questions promptly and the arrangements for the Syrian part of the trip were excellent. Finally I enjoyed meeting you at the hotel in Amman. I would recommend your company to other people wishing to tour the Middle East but with reservations. Unfortunately our experience of the half day tour of Amman organised by you was not as successful. It was a disaster. However, I did explain it to you at our meeting at the Al Fanar Hotel in Amman. The driver was a taxi driver and not a tour guide. He spoke very poor English and so could not give us information we could understand. He raced around Amman as if he wanted to get the tour over with as quickly as possible and took us to a tourist shop (bazaar) which we had not asked for. Obviously he gets commission on any purchases made. Most of the time was spent being shown all the hotels of Amman which really is of no interest to a tourist. In my opinion you should not use guides/drivers who you personally do not know if they are capable or not of doing a satisfactory job. It is a pity that that experience leaves us with a poor opinion of Amman. However, Bronwyn and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Middle East and we wish to thank you for organising our itinerary for Syria and for making some of our hotel bookings in Jordan. The unfortunate half-day in Amman was the only blemish of our trip. Kind regards from both of us,
